The following is an example of the column data I want to scrub:

The report is 100,000+ lines long. If i do the search and replace function, I end up delete\ing the numeric values in the description as well.

Hi

To select and erase only the constant numbers in column A,

- Select column A
- invoke GoTo in Home->Find & Select->GoTo ... (or simply press F5)
- Special...> click on the option button Constants. Check the checkbox Numbers, uncheck the checkboxes Text, Logicals and Errors
- press OK

This selects all the constant numbers in column A. Press the Delete key and you erase all of them.
