removing every second row

how can i remove every second row on mutliple large spreadsheets?

It might be easy. It might be a bit complicated. It might require VBA...or maybe not.

Is there a particular feature of the rows to be deleted? (All contain the same word? Every other row cell is blank? Something else?)

if you dont wanna use VBA, a very easy way would be to type in A1:
=ISEVEN(ROW())

and copy down as many rows as you like. it will fill the column with rotating TRUE / FALSE. copy / paste as values and sort by col A
