I have a list of over 3000 items, after which I filter to unique recored only I end up with 51. I would like that to be my new list. The filter displays the unique data but retains all 3000 records, I would like to eliminate the others. Thanks in advance.

Excel Facts

Copy formula down without changing references
If you have =SUM(F2:F49) in F50; type Alt+' in F51 to copy =SUM(F2:F49) to F51, leaving the formula in edit mode. Change SUM to COUNT.

While the data is filtered, copy it to another location -- should just copy the visible cells, I think.

Can you not use Data|Filter|Advanced Filter and check the unique records only and choose the copy to another location?

Or have I mis-interpreted your question (I'm quite good at that)
Colin.
