REMOVING SPACES

How can i remove all the spaces from a text string? The string can be any length with an unknown number of spaces.

"I am alive"

becomes

"Iamalive"

=SUBSTITUTE(C13," ","")

where C13 houses your text

use edit replace, replace what enter a space replace with leave blank

Hi, If you only want to remove the spaces infront of the text string and at the back go to your function button (Fx) on the toolbar. Select all functions and choose "trim". This will take away the space in front and at the back without removing the spaces within the text string.
