Hello All,
Basically I'm trying to make a summary sheet, with the current date, and then hide.
I have:
VBA Code:
Set ECD = Sheets("ECD")
ECD.Select
    Range("A1:AI3000").Copy
    Sheets.Add After:=ECD
With ActiveSheet
.Paste
.Name = Format(Date, "DD-MM-YYYY")
ActiveWindow.SelectedSheets.Visible = False

End With

the code copying onto a new sheet, but it is not renaming it and not hiding it.
Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong please.
Thanks

Excel Facts

Lock one reference in a formula
Need 1 part of a formula to always point to the same range? use $ signs: $V$2:$Z$99 will always point to V2:Z99, even after copying
Does the sheet already exist? I'm not seeing any errors unless the sheet exists.

You also don't need select.

VBA Code:
Dim ECD As Worksheet

Set ECD = Sheets("ECD")
ECD.Range("A1:AI3000").Copy
    Sheets.Add After:=ECD
With ActiveSheet
.Paste
.Name = Format(Date, "DD-MM-YYYY")
ActiveWindow.SelectedSheets.Visible = False

End With

the sheet does not already exist, it is created before the code to hide. It is also not giving the date name.
Thanks for the help
