Sirs

I need a VBA and procedure to Rename different files in a folder.

The folder contains different image files such as PNG, JPG, BMP, TIFF, HTML etc. with different names. Those file names shall be mentioned in the Column A starting from Cell A1.

The New names/Renames shall be mentioned in Column B starting from Cell B1 against each file names to be renamed.

Kindly help me.

Thanks & Regards

Links? Where??
If Excel says you have links but you can't find them, go to Formulas, Name Manager. Look for old links to dead workbooks & delete.
Is the file path included in the file names?

You can use the "Name" VBA command, as shown here: VBA Rename File - Automate Excel
You would just loop through the list to rename each one.
