Rename with part of string from named range

I'm trying to figure out how to only use part of the string to rename sheets. I have this but the result is January2022. I want it to be Jan.22. Can someone help me to figure it out...

Close. Result is Jan & y
I tried

  .Name = Left(s, 3) & y

which gives Jan2022. So just need to filter 2022 to 22

If you want the dot in between is as well try:

  .Name = Left(s, 3) & "." & Right(y,2)
