Renaming Tabs With Current Date

Within a macro, is there a way to have it rename a tab to whatever the current date is?

Welcome to the board.

Yes, there is:

ActiveSheet.Name = Format(Date,"mmddyy")

or

Worksheets("Sheet1").Name = Format(Date,"mmddyy")

...and of course you can format the date however you like.

Except with slashes, ie this won't work: -

Sheet1.Name = Format(Date, "mm/dd/yy")
