This has got to be the easiest question, but I can't figure this out.

I want the data from column A1 to be repeated in A10, B1 to be repeated in B10, etc. Is there a formula I can put in the top of the column to make this true for all columns? I've tried searching to find the answer, but probably haven't hit upon the right search terms.

Thanks,

Excel Facts

Which came first: VisiCalc or Lotus 1-2-3?
Dan Bricklin and Bob Frankston debuted VisiCalc in 1979 as a Visible Calculator. Lotus 1-2-3 debuted in the early 1980's, from Mitch Kapor.
Welcome to the Board!

In A10 put in =A1 and then drag the formula to the right and it should keep updating the column.

Hope that helps.

Enter in A10

=A1
and then copy it across the columns you want.

Now, how do I make this be effective for new data?

I succesfully did this and for all my current data it worked. In all unoccupied cells it put a 0. If I add new entries, I want those zeros in column P to become what I entered in column B. Is there a way to do that?

Thanks again,
