I need to replace the stop words in the contents of this column whose data description is shown below. Numerous macros and vb routines have all hung up my system. Column B contains the stop words I want to find and replace with a dummy character = to [XXXX]. Column C contains the dummy character, filled down to the bottom of the sheet. Column D contains the document whose characteristics are shown below. In Column D, each cell is filled with one sentence where the sentence equals one paragraph. The stop words to be replaced with the dummy character are in column D. Column D contains 1136 rows or sentences. Column B contains the 1100 stop words.

How to change case of text in Excel?
Use =UPPER() for upper case, =LOWER() for lower case, and =PROPER() for proper case. PROPER won't capitalize second c in Mccartney
