I have timestamps that equal: 30/03/2012*23:54:00

I am trying to make them into time serials.

If I manually edit cell - backspace then press spacebar - they convert fine

Tried using =replace(a1,11,1," ")

But it didnt work.

Any ideas how to get it to convert the bad timestamps to a usable one using a formula?

Can you AutoAverage in Excel?
There is a drop-down next to the AutoSum symbol. Open the drop-down to choose AVERAGE, COUNT, MAX, or MIN
