Replicating "PRINT TITLES" Functionality

I need to replicate the functionality that is utilized by the "PRINT TITLES" setting. Long story short - I am converting a large workbook (40+ worksheets) to PDF using Adobe Acrobat. Any hyperlinks in the workbook are lost if "PRINT TITLES" is used. Thus, I need to manually add the column headings at each page break.

I've tried using xlPageBreakAutomatic, but because that uses the printer drivers, it is unreasonably slow.

I would consider setting manual page breaks (I.E. force a hard beak after each 40 rows). Any techniques?
