using Office 2016 trying to change the size of a Waterfall chart without much success. I tried -
With ActiveChart.Parent.Select
ActiveSheet.Shapes.Select ("Chart 1")

.Height = 300
.Width = 600

No luck.
I also tried to just resize it by recording a macro and this is all that it recorded -

Sub SteveB7()
'
' SteveB7 Macro
'

'
ActiveSheet.ChartObjects("Chart 1").Activate
End Sub

Any help would be appreciated

Hi,

Generically, how about something like this. You will have to change the worksheet and the Item number to suit your circumstances...

Code:
Sub test()

    Dim ws As Worksheet: Set ws = Worksheets("Sheet3")
    ws.Shapes.Item(1).Chart.ChartArea.Height = 300
    ws.Shapes.Item(1).Chart.ChartArea.Width = 600

End Sub
