I am sure this is a simple question...

I am trying to alter the size of an embedded chart but can't seem to find the code to do it.

I understand that the ChartSize Property only works with non-embedded charts.

How do I code the chart and plot area of an embedded chart?

Many thanks

Try this

ActiveChart.ChartArea.Select
ActiveSheet.Shapes("Chart 8").ScaleWidth 1.16, msoFalse, msoScaleFromTopLeft
ActiveSheet.Shapes("Chart 8").ScaleHeight 1.15, msoFalse, msoScaleFromTopLeft
