Hi everyone,

When I send a order form to the customers, they will be adding information, and even possibly adding a few pages if the orders are large.
What I need is that the spreadsheet (file) will be just like the original when they start a new order.
I would like to stay away from them saving it as a new file then sending it to me, but if this is the only way this could be done, then that's the way it will have to be.

You see, I'm trying to make it a user friendly for the customer a possible.

Any suggestions?

Thank you,
Craig

What did Pito Salas invent?
Pito Salas, working for Lotus, popularized what would become to be pivot tables. It was released as Lotus Improv in 1989.
Hi, Craig,

how many changing sheets are involved ?
"adding a few pages": do you mean sheets ?

my first idea - if saveas is not an option - would be:
create some hidden sheets
when hitting button "new order" the "changed sheets are deleted" and the hidden sheets are copied and made visible

kind regards,
Erik

Hi Erik,

Yes, I do mean sheets. I don't understand what you meant by your first idea.

my idea was you had a back-up on hidden sheets

when user clicks button:
some visible "order"sheets are deleted
(not the "title-sheet" & perhaps "information-sheets" or any which can not be changed anyway)
then the invisible back-up-sheets are copied and made visible

you see ?

I see. But users will be using this sheet many time over, possibaly more than 100's of times.

Thank you,
Craig
