Retrieving data from Web

Hi there,

I've asked this question a couple of times previously but I haven't had a response yet so I'm starting to think perhaps there isn't an effective way to do this.

I have a program that retrieves data from websites however on occasion it does seem to freeze:

Function GetSource(sURL As String) As String

'   =============================================================================================

    On Error GoTo NoData

    Dim oXHTTP As Object
    
    Application.StatusBar = "Retrieving Source Code from website, please wait..."
    Set oXHTTP = CreateObject("MSXML2.XMLHTTP")
    oXHTTP.Open "GET", sURL, False
    oXHTTP.send
    GetSource = oXHTTP.responsetext
    Set oXHTTP = Nothing
    
NoData:

End Function

The section that it freezes at is the ".send" part. Can anyone suggest coding I could wrap round this so that if it does freeze (which I believe is due to not being able to connect to the web source), that the procedure will wait, and then try connecting again?
