I have been working with Excel 2003 forever and am just now shifting to Excel 2007. How do I make the adjustment so that when I hit the "enter" key my selected cell remains in the cell where I hit return? Essentially, Excel's default is to drop down one cell when you hit the enter key but I want it to remain in the same place. Does this make sense?

Whats the difference between CONCAT and CONCATENATE?
The newer CONCAT function can reference a range of cells. =CONCATENATE(A1,A2,A3,A4,A5) becomes =CONCAT(A1:A5)
I have Office 2010, but I think for 2007 it should be...

Under Excel Options - Advanced - Editing Options is:

"After pressing Enter, move selection"

Your option to stay in same place is not available; only right, down, left, and up.

Note in case - Excel Options is under the logo in the upper left and after menu appears, in the lower right beside "Exit Excel"

Good Luck.
