I am missing something here and not sure why or what. I'm trying to return the birthdays in March from earliest to latest.

Formula used
=IFERROR(INDEX($D$2:$D$31,AGGREGATE(15,6,(ROW($D$2:$D$31)-ROW($D$2)+1)/(MONTH($C$2:$C$31)=$F$1),ROWS($H$1:H1))),"")

And in F1 is the number 3. In the list below, 9 should be the first with 12 last

How to show all formulas in Excel?
Press Ctrl+` to show all formulas. Press it again to toggle back to numbers. The grave accent is often under the tilde on US keyboards.
How about
=IFERROR(AGGREGATE(15,6,$D$2:$D$31/(MONTH($C$2:$C$31)=$F$1),ROWS($H$1:H1)),"")

Ok, thank you. I see the extra step I was trying to force into the formula.
