Hi,

I am looking for some help in returning the first non blank cell in a column.

However I would like it to return multiple results.

I have a lookup column that is checking one list against another list, using a 4 digit code as the comparison point.

In the formula cell I have ={IF(COUNTIF($G$2:$G$100,D3)>0,"",E3)}

This returns those codes that do not match.

What I then want to do is list, without all the blanks, the cell values that do not match.

The cell values are text.

I am unable to attach the table, but the basic layout is:

AA AB AC AD AE
1234 PINK 4567 RED
4567 RED 8910 BLUE BLUE

So the formula will return BLUE. The layout of the sheet means that this information will not be visible, so I need to show the 'differences' in another location on the sheet.

I am using Excel 97-2003

Many thanks,

kash
