Return text instead of 00/01/1900 as result of formula

My formula for displaying the last date kind of works. However, if there are no "AC" values in column B, then it returns a 00/01/1900 value. How can i amend the formula below to show some text in this case?

=MAX(IF(C8:C5000="AC",E8:E5000))
