Sorry if this has been asked I have done a fair bit of searching.

I’m trying to return a cell value, if the cell is equal to a certain letter. Any help would be much appreciated.

I have got this far =IF($D14=$D$8,"=K14","") Unfortunately this returns =K14 not the contents of cell "K14".

I’m just a beginner trying to be advanced... Thank you

Excel Facts

Remove leading & trailing spaces
Save as CSV to remove all leading and trailing spaces. It is faster than using TRIM().
Welcome to the board...

Almost got it, just remove the quotes and the = from K14

Try
=IF($D14=$D$8,K14,"")

Hope that helps.

Mickeydub,

The formula =IF($D14=$D$8,"=K14","") does not need the " " where it is true.

Just use =IF($D14=$D$8,K14,"")
