I would like to return the value in the row AFTER a lookup.

Consider B6 contains a customername, and B7 contains the customer's city. (this is a unstructured data dump where each customer has 14 rows in a record, but all the data is in column b...(eg. b1-14 is customer #1, B15-29 is customer #2).

so far I have a two column solution using a match and an index from the result of the match...is there an easier way?..

=MATCH(A930,Original!B:B,0) -returns 20157, the row containing the customer name in A930)

=INDEX(Original!B:B,B930+1,1) - Returns 'Denton', the City that is in cell Original!B20158.

thanks for the help!

Maybe you are looking for:

=INDEX(Original!B:B,MATCH(A930,Original!B:B,0)+1,1)

Hope that helps.
