Hello,

I have a file path in cell D11 R:\ABC\AIS\GREM\DATA_NSO\Data\Dashboard Reports\Region1\ and I would like to return the value of Region1.

Can someone please assist?

Excel Facts

Format cells as currency
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+4 to format cells as currency. (Shift 4 is the $ sign).
Try the formula:

Code:
=TRIM(MID(SUBSTITUTE(D11,"\",REPT(" ",100)),(LEN(D11)-LEN(SUBSTITUTE(D11,"\",""))-1)*100,32767))

Note that this will depend on having the trailing "" as you've advised.

HTH.

Hi,

How about this:

Book1

11R:\ABC\AIS\GREM\DATA_NSO\Data\Dashboard Reports\Region1\
12Region1
Sheet193
Cell Formulas
RangeFormula
D12=TRIM(RIGHT(SUBSTITUTE(D11,"",REPT(" ",255)),510))
