return Zero where then return is not true

I am using the averageIf function and I need the cell to show 0 when then results are not positive. Please advise what I am missing or how to resolve my calucation

=AverageIf(a1:a10,">0",a1:a10) displays #DIV/0!

I want it to show 0 only

Please help I know its something simple :)

Try this...

=IFERROR(AVERAGEIF(A1:A10,">0"),0)

Or if you also want the average when the result is not 0 try
=IF(ISERROR(AVERAGE(A1:A10)),0,AVERAGEIF(A1:A10,">0"))
