In excel 2003, We have the ability to move the plot point directly on the graph and it changes the value accordingly in the respective series.

How can we do this in excel 2007? I am not able to move the point.

Please help immediately.

Thanks

Do you hate GETPIVOTDATA?
Prevent GETPIVOTDATA. Select inside a PivotTable. In the Analyze tab of the ribbon, open the dropown next to Options and turn it off

For regret, Excel 2007 doesn’t support this feature

But fortunately the something similar is possible :)
Here is simple example of the possible workaround of such limitation: DotDiagram.xlsx
Additional single dot line data is added to the dot line diagram.
ScrollBar is used for position navigation of this added dot in diagram.

Thanks, this seems to be a good tool but it is not the One thing I am asking.

What I want is that if I change the curve of the plot than those values should be reflected in the table from which the curve was originally made.

Example, if I change the curve from bell curve to exponential curve then the data in the table (used to create bell curve) should change too.

Please guide how to do this. This feature was there in 2003 but I am not able to find it in 2007

Thanks
