Rewrite averageifs formula so it doesn't hard code criteria

Hi I have a formula that basically does what I need it to do gives me an average based on criteria and excludes a specific name. I am not sure why I'm struggling here but instead of hard coding the name of person I want to exclude I want to simply reference a cell but every time I do that it gives me an error. How should it be wirtten?

=AVERAGEIFS('3024'!F:F,'3024'!B:B,'Route Summary'!H3,'3024'!D:D,"<>Firs Last")

Do you mean this part here?
"<>Firs Last"

If so, you could do it like this:
"<>" & A1
for a name in cell A1

or
"<>" & A1 & " " & B1
for a name in cell A1 (first name) and B1 (last name)
