Ribbon and Menu's dissappear when opening Excel 2007

When I open Excel, my Ribbon is gone, so is the minimize/maximize and Close button. The File, Edit, View (menu) is missing. I can't minimize or maximize and the only thing I can do is Alt-Control-Del to end the task. I use excel every day and don't know what to do.

Hi there,

First of all, do you have any add-ins installed? Have you tried opening in safe mode? Could you perhaps show a screenshot of your application window? In 2007 you will not have the File/Edit/View.. menus, as they've been replaced by the Ribbon. There are add-ins out there which give them back. Also ensure there is only one instance of the application running (hit Ctrl + Shift + Esc to show the Task Manager, check the Processes tab).
