How do I remove the top ribbon bar in excel using vba thanks stu

What do you call the 'top ribbon bar'? Is that the 'Quick Access Bar'?

Yes the file etc bar

No can't figure out how it can be done. Also don't see any reference to the menu ribbon in the application objects.
but you can do it manually. Why do you want to get rid of it through code anyway? it is not like it is in the way
