Rookie question

I use EXCEL to keep track of the hours I work.I set it up just so it adds up my hours then multipies it by my hourly rate.After 40 hours I get time and a half. eg: $10.00 per hour reg / $15.00 per hour after 40 hours.Is there a way to set excel up to multiply by 15 instead of 10 once the hours add up to 40?

There is a drop-down next to the AutoSum symbol. Open the drop-down to choose AVERAGE, COUNT, MAX, or MIN

With the total hours in A1 try:

=A1*10+MAX(0,A1-40)*5
