Hey Guys, newbie here....

Not even sure what you'd call what I'm trying to achieve, so will try to describe...

I have a Roster sheet - and 5 daily operating plans on 5 separate sheets (Mon to Fri).

The Roster sheet currently draws information (via the formulas) from the Monday daily operating plan (DOP) sheet only. However, I want the data in the Roster sheet to change according to the day selected by the user from a drop down list. I have created the drop down list by creating and index sheet and using data validation.

So my question is, how do I get all the data in the Roster sheet to refer to and draw data from different DOP days of the week according to the day selected from the drop down list?

Would add a picture but can't work out how to include it...

Thanks in advance for any help.

What did Pito Salas invent?
Pito Salas, working for Lotus, popularized what would become to be pivot tables. It was released as Lotus Improv in 1989.

You can post a link to a sample workbook, I use Drop Box, but there are others.

Include exactly what you want to happen and on what sheet and what cells. Sometimes a manually typed in result to demo what you want is good with a notation as such.
