Hi

I need to round an entered date to specify which financial year it falls in.

i.e. An entry of 31 July 2019 needs to be rounded up so is shows as 31 March 2020.

Happy to have the date entered in one cell (say A1) and the year end date in another say (B1).

Is this possible?

Thanks

Paul

Did you know Excel offers Filter by Selection?
Add the AutoFilter icon to the Quick Access Toolbar. Select a cell containing Apple, click AutoFilter, and you will get all rows with Apple
How about
=DATE(YEAR(A1)+IF(MONTH(A1)>3,1,0),3,31)
