Rounding Down

I'm trying to return a % figure to be rounded down to the nearest .5% e.g. 98.7% will return 95.5%, 99.9% will return 99.5%, 99.4% will return 99.0%

Try using FLOOR, e.g. with original % in A1 try this formula in B1

=FLOOR(A1,0.5%)

format B1 as %
