Hi,

I already used the search-function, but couldn't find the answer to my question: I need to round down an amount to the nearest multiple of five, but I can't seem to get it working using the ROUND or ROUNDDOWN-function... For example, 99047 has to become 99045 and 99043 has to become 99040

Any help appreciated...

Can a formula spear through sheets?
Use =SUM(January:December!E7) to sum E7 on all of the sheets from January through December

If you really want to round 99047 to 99045 and not to 99050, then use:

=ROUNDDOWN(A1/5,0)*5
