Not a newbie to Excel, but I do run into my share of questions. Here's one:
I have a column of values (inches) that I would like to round to the nearest 0.25 (inches). I have yet to find a way to do this. Ceiling or Floor will take me either up or down, but no ONE function will round both UP and DOWN to the nearest 0.25.
Any idea?
Here's a visual example of what I'm looking to do...
In the DEPTH column, I want to round each number either up or down to the nearest quarter-inch (0.25). For instance, the value 0.68 will round up to 0.75, the value 1.02 will round down to 1.00, 1.36 goes to 1.25, and so on.
Thanks in advance for any help.
