Hi Guys,

I have a column of call duration values.

For example:

00:09:54
00:10:11
01:55:07
01:55:23
02:47:24
02:47:39
02:59:35
00:35:22
00:35:50

Is there a way we can roundup to the nearest minute, then represent this as a value, so based upon the example below, these values would now be shown as:

10
11
116
116
168
168
180
36
36

Thanks guys :)

Format cells as date
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+3 to format cells as date. (Shift 3 is the # sign which sort of looks like a small calendar).
Well, this would work too, it has to be formated as number or general - though it's decidedly not as streamlined as the rest :)

=ROUND(HOUR(A1)*60+MINUTE(A1)+SECOND(A1)/60,0)

There may (easily) be a shorter way, but this worked for me (copy down)

=IF(HOUR(A1)>0,HOUR(A1)*60,0)+ROUNDUP(MINUTE(A1),0)+1
