rownumber over()

Has anyone got a function for adding a rownumber in a table.
I have duplicate rows of data (on propose) which need row numbers.

GroupKey, RowNumber
123, 1
123, 2
236, 1
598, 1
589, 2
589, 3

You can use VBA with DAO.Recordsets to add that. See this post here:
