run macro every time different sheet activated

I believe Workbook_SheetChange has to be present in every workbook where I want it to work.
But I want to run a macro in my main template whenever a different workbook is activated/opened or a different sheet is selected in any open workbook.

Can this be done?
 

Excel Facts

Why does 9 mean SUM in SUBTOTAL?
