Excel Facts

Whats the difference between CONCAT and CONCATENATE?
The newer CONCAT function can reference a range of cells. =CONCATENATE(A1,A2,A3,A4,A5) becomes =CONCAT(A1:A5)
Most common technique is to turn off ScreenUpdating at the start of your macro, turn it back on when the macro is done.

Else, post your macro and let us take a look.

You could set calculation to manual.

Mind you using either suggestion might not make any difference at all, the problem could lie elsewhere and be nothing to do with the code.:)

how to run macros faster (2 to 3 times the usual speed)
How fast your code executes depends on a number of factors.
The code itself (what all it's doing), the memory & processing speed of your particular machine, what other applications are running at the time, etc, etc.

So... the speed at which it runs can vary noticeably, even on the same machine. There is no way I've ever heard of to actually speed things up, but (as jbeaucaire & Norie point out) there are default settings that slow it down which can be turned off.

And then lastly, it could be the code itself can be rewritten to run more efficiently, which may be able to cut its run time some.
