Run on double click - copy>paste not working

Hi everyone,

I have a bit of a stumper... I am using a control button to run a macro. The code has been modified to only run on the second click - i.e. on first click a msg box asks for confirmation, then click no 2 executes the macro. The strange thing is that when I tried to oncorporate this into one of my spreadsheets, steps that used to run okay suddenly generated errors.

For example, I had a simple copy and paste operation. This ceased to work, citing an application error, however, when I included a new line of code to check a 'general' copy>paste operation, it worked fine - it looked like only the copy>paste code present prior to the insertion of the double-click code that I added was somehow adversely affected.

Has anyone seen anything like this?

Thanks,

vcoder
