Run-time error 1004 Select from A3 to last row and copy

I am getting an error on: If PPLR > 2 Then Sheets("Escalation Table Escalations").Range("A3:F" & PPLR).Select

Not sure why. Sheet name is correct

 PPLR = Sheets("Escalation Table Escalations").Cells(Rows.Count, "A").End(xlUp).Row

What is the value of "PPLR"?

You can add a MsgBox to your code to easily see this:

 PPLR = Sheets("Escalation Table Escalations").Cells(Rows.Count, "A").End(xlUp).Row
 MsgBox PPLR

You cannot select cells if the sheet is not active, try
