Run Time error 1004

Hi,

I have a shared spread sheet that pops up with the following for one user...but the nacro works fine for myself and other users.

Run-Time error '1004'

Method 'SaveAs' of object'_Workbook'failed

Debugging show no obvious errors (as stated - it works fine for me)

Clicking End runs the Macro but will not let user save the workbook.

Any ideas?

Not much to go on. What is the file name you are trying to use? Does the user have the same directory structure as you, and others?

Left open by other user ?
On a server with no rights for the user ?
Trying to Save_As in the wrong format ?
Are all users on the same version of Excel ?

Maybe post the code in full !

Apologies for limited info.

User has same access rights, same version of Excel (sits next to me same Office config)...no-one else was in the sheet...

I have also checked that macro security settings match ...

Other macro's in same sheet work fine...........just this one that updates another sheet that is failing?

The code as it stands works for me....
Check the filepath and it's relevance to the other users PC, as mentioned by TMS !

Thanks for this............it has to be something to do with the filepath......although we all point to the same place......it appears we all have different 'titles' for the path............
