Run-time error '57121': "Application-defined or object-defined error"

When I use pictures on ActiveX buttons I get this error.
Pictures on a sheet doesn't seem to generate it.

After getting this error, just deleting the button pic doesn't stop the error.
It seems i have to go back to a version that has never contained a pic.
I've tried Jpeg and Bitmap.

Anyone see this before? Suggestions? Ideas?
