Run time variables in MS Query

Hello all, I'm looking to get an MS Query I have setup with a hardcoded date to prompt for date range on run. This query will be updated from Excel via a macro. Is this possible?

The Where clause:
AND (Metadates.Date BETWEEN '10/9/2006' AND '10/15/2006')
