Hi,

How can I get a macro to run based on an IF?

For example. If cell A1=1 then the macro will run.

Cheers.

Investigate the Worksheet_Change event.

Post back if you need more detail.

Ah excellent thanks a lot :biggrin:

Code:
Private Sub Worksheet_Change(ByVal Target As Excel.Range)

If Target.Address = "$A$1" Then
    Application.EnableEvents = False
    If Target.Value = 1 Then
         Range("A2").Value = "hello world"
    Else
       Range("A2").Value = ""
    End If
    Application.EnableEvents = True
End If

End Sub
