Running a macro upon Access completing a file download

Its getting late here and I am struggling with this one. I am dumping a table from Access into Excel (using RunApp to open the Excel file via Access) and would like to run macros on the data (to create a chart) as soon as the Access download is complete. The challenge I am encountering is that my auto_open code is running as soon as the file is opened (i.e. before the access download is complete) and this does me no good. I really don't want the end user to have to do anything to make this work (if possible) - any ideas? Thanks in advance.
