What I am looking to achieve:- simply home economics account. I need to show a running total of monies set aside for a saving, this figure is not actually deducted from the starting balance of the account as it remains in the bank account (its not an actual deduction), I need to show across sheets and increasing figure. IE: a1 sheet 1=250 then a1 sheet2 =500 and so on (this is not a formula) I would need an input value cell and a total cell. I am confused as what to link across sheets, would it be the input cell or the total cell. And do I include sheet 1 or start from sheet 2 sheet 1 being the starting reference figure. I know this is more than likely simple seems I have just got a mental block.

any advice most welcome.
