Before I go recreating the wheel, does anyone know of a good excel based template to calulate weekly sales/production forecasts based on past sales.

I want to be able to track weekly sales for about 750 SKUs and use excel to help with a rolling 52 week forecast of some sort.

The biggest hurdles I forsee in creating from scratch would be the ability to tweak for pseudo-seasonality & accounting for some sort of frequency tracking. If an item only sells every 2 months, I only want it to forecast for those times rather than averaging it out.

Once I have the forecast I can then import it into my system for the raw materials purchasing aspect.

Thanks,
