Hello,

Newbie here,

Anybody here have time to help me for excel VBA.
Please help me on about excel vba.
I have an excel file with one sheet named master and i would like to copy the master sheet to a new sheet and rename it as master rev.0 then if i have a latest data on master sheet, the data from master sheet on columnA will compare to the previous sheet ( master rev.0) then if there is a same data from master sheet and previou rev. in columnA,the data from column B to E of master rev.0. will automatically copy to the columnA of Master sheet.

Let say:
Master sheet
Col A Col B Col C Col D Col E
b
c
f
g
h
z
t

Master Rev.0
Col A Col B Col C Col D Col E
b 35 3 6 9
c 5 4
f
g 6 2
h 3 2 45 3

Result:
Master sheet
Col A Col B Col C Col D Col E
b 35 3 6 9
c 5 4
f
g 6 2
h 3 2 45 3
z
t
Then again ,if there is another latest data ,the on master sheet will be copy to another sheet then it will rename as MAster Rev.1, same procedure the latest rev will compare again to the previous rev. now it is Master rev1.

Thank you.

Excel Facts

Which came first: VisiCalc or Lotus 1-2-3?
Dan Bricklin and Bob Frankston debuted VisiCalc in 1979 as a Visible Calculator. Lotus 1-2-3 debuted in the early 1980's, from Mitch Kapor.
Greetings,

Maybe just me, but I am not following your question. It sounds as if you have it well thought through. It might help if you were to layout sample data using one of these:

To post sample data:
Excel Jeanie
Or
TO CONTACT RICHARD
Richard Schollar's HTML Maker
OR TO DOWNLOAD EITHER HTMLMaker (Richard's table maker) or VBHTMLMAKER (code) IN OLDER BROWSER
https://skydrive.live.com/?cid=8cffdec0ce27e813&sc=documents&id=8CFFDEC0CE27E813!189&brby=1

Or
Borders;Copy;Paste

And maybe restate the question.

Cheers,

Mark
