Hi Sirs,
I need your kind help:
I need a small macro whereas it tells me after editing where I "save as" spreadsheet while keeping the source as it is?

Example:
I have source excel spreadsheet where I input on daily basis data and make some editing by a macro I did, after finishing I need an extra small macro where it tells me where I "Save As" this source spreadsheet by which I keep the source spreadsheet without any change and "save as" it into another name

I hope my inquiry issue is understandable.

Thanking you in advance

Maher

Change the file's properties to Read-Only. Then, if you try to save the workbook, it will bring up the Save As dialog box.
