I have a file which is named as summary. Im trying to save as summary in a new folder in the same drive but need the option to add what I want to save the file as. I.E

File is at present under c:\docs&settings\mydocs\summary but what I want to do is have a macro that can save that file to something like c:\docs&settings\mydocs\summary\oldperioddata but also have the option of when saving as I can name what the file is to be named within the 2nd file its saving to.

Can anyone help???

Many Thanks

Hello Shrek, welcome to the board.
I'm not sure I completely understand what you're looking to do.
I assume some code that just calls up the "SaveAs" diolog box is not what you're after. (?)
It's the last sentence that I'm unclear on. Are you just looking to have it save and then save again (with the SaveAs) using a different file path and under a different name which is to be determined by the value of a cell in the original wb?
